Mud Density Sensor

Epoch Well Services, Inc. is dedicated to providing our customers with accurate measurements of all drilling parameters. One of the most critical factors in safely drilling a well is to monitor the mud weight. With this in mind, Epoch now integrates extremely accurate Mud Density sensors in our list of available drilling sensor options.

This Epoch Mud Density sensor is extremely accurate. The sensors and the digital electronics are completely sealed from the drilling fluid and operate while immersed in the mud pit. This reduces the electronic lag inherent with systems whose electronics are present above the drilling fluid. The Epoch Mud Density probes require little maintenance. Mud caking on the sensor face is not an issue in this design. In addition, the system is temperature compensated to insure accurate readings up to +220°F. Since safety is always an issue at the wellsite, this sensor is explosion proof and intrinsically safe. This is the case with all Epoch wellsite equipment.
