Epoch developed a solid reputation in mudlogging services. The company has an exceedingly strong background in a variety of onshore and offshore areas, most prominently the Gulf of Mexico, California, and Alaska. In addition, Epoch has prior experience in a variety of challenging areas such as the US Mid-Continent, the Rocky Mountains, South America, and the Middle East. Qualified Personnel

Epoch always maintains strict employment standards. We hire only the most highly qualified and well-trained geologists continually putting them through our rigorous in-house training programs to insure that a high quality and professional product is available to the operator.

Epoch mudlogging units have a track record of working in difficult geologic regions under harsh conditions. We have provided accurate, reliable data on over 2,500 wells on both onshore and offshore locations.

All Epoch logging units are fully computerized and have the latest in FID gas detection equipment.

In addition, Epoch developed a proprietary "E-Series" FID gas detection system that allows for accurate, reliable gas readings at all times. Epoch included other available technology within our services, such as the Texaco developed QGM™ Gas Trap and QFT II™ oil evaluation methods.

Geothermal

Epoch is frequently called upon to provide data on some of the most critical geothermal wells drilled in the United States. The company has been a fixture in commercial geothermal drilling for many years, including several scientific drilling ventures. This association has allowed us to witness and record the drilling of the San Andreas fault (DOSECC, Cajon Pass), the Long Valley Caldera (Sandia National Lab, Mammoth Lakes) and the Hot Dry Rock Project (Los Alamos National Lab).

By using our proprietary DML software and modifying the various log formats to meet customer requirements, Epoch provides an accurate, custom product on each well. After the well is drilled, Epoch also assists in the testing phase, providing detailed charts and graphs documenting the temperature and pressure data gathered during testing.
